Does it seem like the Utes recruiting has hit a new level? With the commitment of Darren Jones, having a serious shot at Jayden Daniels on the heels of Tuttle, and others we've brought in the past years, it seems to me that we have.
After decades of solid teams, especially on defense of course, and joining the PAC12, the addition of Troy Taylor seems to be the thing that has raised the bar for us.
On, a slightly different note, the other day I heard a national analyst (sorry, can't remember who) say that their are only two teams that both recruit at an elite level AND develop at an elite level.
Any guesses who they are? IllI give you a couple hints. One rhymes with Yama Hama. The other rhymes with Brzemson. I don't know if he's completely accurate with that statement or not. But, that's obviously a great club to be in. With a couple more years of Coach Whit couldn't we approach that level? We'll probably always lack the bagman to truly reach that level. And I'm ok with that.
