I was speaking with someone close to the team recently, and I continue to get rave reviews about Covey. They believe he's back and better than before, already. Another one that everyone continues to gush about is Bronson Boyd. Here's why this is cause for excitement, when Covey was a freshman, Butler-Byrd asked to be moved to CB because he felt the offense didn't need him--him and Covey were the same type and CBB preferred D. Can you imagine how good the offense would have been with both of them on the field at the same time?! We've mentioned to you guys that Boyd is viewed as a three inches taller CBB, so just imagine how dynamic these two could be in Taylor's offense.
