San Marcos, CA cornerback Terrell Burgess is one of the top players remaining on Utah's board this year, and the Utes are in a good spot with him. At this point, it looks like he's going to decide between Utah and Arizona. He's got an official set to Zona this weekend, and plans on taking an official to Utah soon (he' already visited both schools unofficially).
Our colleagues at the Arizona site caught up with him, and he talks about his recruitment by both schools. Here's the link to that story: https://utah.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1816610
A couple of interesting things of note about Burgess:
- He wants to be an attorney and Sharreiff Shah is his recruiting coach. Hmmm...
- He's visiting Arizona during the same weekend as Melquise Stovall, the 4 star prospect that Utah is pursuing hard. It will be interesting to see if A) they get to know each other this weekend and B) Utah can use that to their advantage.
- Keep an eye on this kid. He's really, really good and Utah is recruiting him hard.
