I caught up with the state's top 2016 prospect Simi Fehoko tonight, just after his trip to Utah. Coach Scalley recently reached out to him on Twitter, wanting to get him on campus for some early one-on-one time with the program, so, the Fehoko's took him up on it. Simi met with several coaches, but spent a bunch of time with Coach Whitt and Coach Stubblefield. Whitt talked to him about their vision for him, also saying that he could see him potentially at 5 different positions, depending on how he grows from now, through when he gets back from his eventual mission. This is something Simi liked because he's fully aware of the programs success at projecting players at other positions. Fehoko is also really high on Stubblefield as a coach and those two talked about what Stubbs expects from his guys and what he'll do for his players.

Now for the question everyone is bound to ask: what influence does VJ's experience have on him? First off, those two are cousins and they're close. Simi grew up a Ute fan and has always been close with the program. VJ's decision to transfer will have no effect on Simi's eventual decision because he says everyone's situation is different.

Fehoko says his ultimate decision will come down the the school and the program. He claims he won't pick a program simply because of a coach.

More to come. Until then, here's his highlights:
