I just got off the phone with Michael "Megatron Mike" Ezeike. Michael is a theee star wide receiver, and is huge at 6'5", 210 pounds already. His film is really fun to watch, and shows a big, physical, pretty fast receiver that consistently comes down with contested balls and is a fierce blocker. Here are a few interesting points from our conversation, and I'll have a full article coming later.
- Coach Shah has been his main recruiter so far, Michael said that he likes Shah's energetic personality.
- Aside from Utah, Michael is being pretty heavily recruited by Oregon, UCLA, Texas A&M, Cal, and Vanderbilt.
- He said that some of the most important things in the school that he chooses are going to be a good relationship with the coaches, that they have a good business major, and that the football program can consistently put players in the NFL.
- He plans on unofficially visiting quite a few schools this summer, including Utah, but also South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Cal, Arizona, and ASU.
- Michael plans on revealing his top schools on his birthday, September 17, and said that he will then commit at some point during the season.
