Pima CC defensive back Markell Simmons is planning on visiting Utah on January 30. Simmons is a very promising safety prospect that Utah has been trying to quietly recruit for the past couple of months. They offered him back in November, and he's been a strong Utah lean since that time. Oregon State has of course gotten in the game with him, and he'll visit Corvallis this weekend. However, Morgan Scalley is the first coach that ever showed interest in him, and the relationship is strong. I've been staying quiet about Simmons on purpose for the past several weeks, but our JUCO guy caught up with him, so now that the story's out, we'll start talking about him.
