I just got off the phone with Wilmore, a running back prospect out of Lawndale, CA. Wilmore doesn't yet have a list of top schools defined, but he said that the colleges talking to him the most right now are Utah, USC, SDSU, Washington State, Nebraska and Boise State.
Wilmore has only taken one unofficial visit so far, to USC, but it was back during spring ball. Wilmore said that he liked what he saw in spring practices from them and how intense they were. Wilmore said that he hasn't yet made plans for any other unofficial or official visits yet, because he's focusing heavily on his own spring camp right now. He did say that he's working on trying to figure out official visits, and that Utah has a great chance to be one of the five schools that he uses those official visits on.
Coach McDonald and Coach Shah have been teaming up on Jordan's recruitment, and Wilmore said their relationship is very good. He likes the way they approach his recruitment and don't try to sugar coat anything. He also said that the fact that Utah has recently sent two running backs to the NFL and seeing the development and success of Zack Moss is impressive.
