Just spoke with California running back, Greg Bell. He unofficially visited Utah a couple of weeks ago, and gave rave reviews about the welcoming environment that Utah has. He said that he's good friends with Terrell Burgess, so they spoke a lot and talked about what it's like playing at Utah. He said that Kiel McDonald is an impressive guy and that McDonald was telling Bell that he wants him to come to Utah so he could play right away and compete for a starting spot. The most impressive thing about Utah was that it was a family atmosphere and everyone was extremely welcoming and inviting.

He said that his top three right now are Utah, Boise State and Louisville. He'll be officially visiting Boise State and Louisville mid-late July and going back to Utah for an official visit during a game weekend during the season. Other schools getting involved are Oklahoma State, Auburn and USC, and that OkSU and Auburn are closest to offering but not so much USC.

The most interesting thing he said was that he already has a good idea of where he wants to go. With Utah being the only place he's gone to so far, plus one of the last official visits he takes during a game day atmosphere, Utah seems like the team to beat here.

He also said that he'll be signing in December and enrolling in January. More soon...
