I just spoke with Fua Pututau and he had some interesting things to say. First off, he loves the coaching staff's new in-state approach and he'll be going on an unofficial to Utah (not tomorrow, but) next Friday. He currently has offers from Utah, Boise St., BYU, Oregon St., and Washington St. He's also hearing a bunch from Washington, Colorado, and Cal. Like his brother, he'll be a sign-&-send. He said his family was pretty floored when Sitake and Tuiaki left (they were a big reason why his brother Howard chose Utah). However, Lewis Powell and Justin Ena have already been messaging him and opening up some dialogue. Pututau sees his role in college as a hybrid DE/LB.
