I just got off the phone with Rancho Cucamonga OT Alec Anderson, who just released a top 5 today that included the Utes. The other schools in that top 5 are Wazzu, Boise State, ASU, and Oregon State. Alec had some good things to say about Utah, and says that he plans to officially visit the Utes during the season.
Alec said that his relationship with Coach Shah was a major reason that Utah was included in his top 5. He also really likes Utah's track record with developing offensive linemen and sending them to the NFL. Alec will be visiting ASU, OSU, and Wazzu unofficially in the coming weeks before the season starts, and, as mentioned above, Utah during the season.
