On what made the difference

"It was a number of things. There wasn't one. It was a great college game. I felt like we could win this ball game. We just didn't make enough great plays. There was a lot of slippage. I thought there was some slippage on some plays, some missed layups. Getting out rebounded in the second half when we got in foul trouble was a problem for us. We ended up having to play small and then were out rebounded by ten here in our home court. There were a lot of things. They had some guys that made some great plays. If we're going to compete against the top team in the country like that, we've got to be a lot better. The list goes on and on in terms of where we didn't make the plays that we needed to make. That's a heck of a team. Offense is not easy against that team, they do a good job. Neither team shot the ball well, baskets were hard to come by. You get down to the end of the game and it's about who can make the plays and who can't and it was them. I thought the missed free throw was huge, it's an opportunity for us to be down one on the miss and instead they were up one. That's a gigantic play right there."

On game interruptions

"I don't think we have fouled that much all year. That's what made it difficult. It had to be a record for us. It's hard to find your rhythm on a game like that. It's not about officiating or anything. We just have to be better."

On Arizona's physicality

"There were a couple of fouls that should have been called, I get it. But we missed some open shots as well. It's not really a question of physicality when nobody is there. We just went up and were trying to avoid some people. They do a nice job of protecting the rim and we don't have the explosiveness and the ability to go finish right now. We have been talking about it for a few weeks. It's been one of our Achilles heels, to go in and finish some plays. We're dodging contact sometimes and spinning stuff up at the rim instead of going up and trying to get the ball. You saw what it should look like on the other end, where they are finishing trying to dunk the ball. We have to get better at that."

On three-point shooting

"Baskets were hard to come by and it was a little sluggish. I think they had 17 points about 15 minutes into the game. I thought our defense kept us in it. I kept thinking the rim was going to open up and we were going to make some shots and get back in it. And then it was just punch, counter punch all the way through. I was disappointed when we got a six-point lead and then we had a break down on [Gabe] York and gave him an open three. We've seen that all year and showed it on video. So that is a game-plan break down right there that got them back in. We did a decent job of defending the three and managed to make seven of them ourselves. But how many little four-point plays along the way can you put together yourself that would have made a difference. It was an awful lot of little things and that's what I stressed before the game. Let's not get carried away in the emotion and how gigantic the game is. It still comes down to the next play in front of you."

Delon Wright

On his feelings after the game

"I'm real disappointed. We had a shot at a Pac-12 title."

On what Arizona did to Utah defensively

"It could be both things you mentioned. They play really good defense against us and we missed open shots - layups, just good looks. They're really tough and that's why they're one of the top ranked teams in the country."

On the physicality of the game

"Fouls were going both ways. Some should have gone to us. It just seemed like everything was a foul, every little bump."

On the atmosphere

"The students have been camping out for days and I wish we could have won."

On what changed when Utah went up six

"We knew we didn't want to give a three to Gabe and he did just that. He hit one to cut it from six to three and then we couldn't get some stops."

Dallin Bachynski

On his feelings after the game

"I can't say how disappointing it was. It will take time to truly hit me. We were up six and it hurts to know we let it slip through our fingers. We will learn from it and have a good practice next week. We need to move forward."

On how he thinks the rebounding differed from last game

"I know we lost the battle because we ended up down 9 in that area and we were up at the half."

On what changes moving forward

"I think we just have to keep our spirits up, be in a good nature about things. We need to make sure we go into this last week strong and make sure we go into the Pac-12 Tournament positively."

On Senior Night

"It was emotional. It truly hit me because it is my last game in the Huntsman. I tried to think it was a normal game but when I walked out on the floor and the crowd started cheering it reminded me how special it was and why I came here."

Arizona head coach Sean Miller

On Gabe York

"Gabe made a number of big plays. He defended really well, Taylor, at the end. He obviously hit a huge shot when they made their run. He is really improving. He is playing the best basketball of his career right now. He is more well-rounded than he has ever been before; passing, driving the ball, scoring from two, obviously making three-point shots. If he misses threes, he doesn't get down on himself. He is a much better defender right now than he has ever been. When you do that, you have a chance to play a little bit more too."

On continuing to attack

"Our guys never really broke. I thought that when they went up six points midway through the second half that was a crucial time for us. We really responded. We stayed with it. We played great defense, we rebounded and stayed with it. We had a couple of shots that we needed to make, point blank shots. To be able to win in this type of atmosphere and against a team as good as Utah, however you do it is a good job."

On rebounding

"I will tell you that it is a little bit skewed. I feel like we rebounded our own missed shots several times, in which you say to yourself 'you've got to make one of those.' We did turn it around in the second half. We are a really physical team and that is how we have to be."

On his team's offense

"You can really get down on yourself when the ball is not going in. That affects the defense. Our missed shots never really affected our defense and that is a sign of a tough-minded team, especially on the road."

On defending Delon Wright

"We didn't do anything different. We just kept working. He is a terrific player. We tried to guard him with more than one player, we tried to mix up what we were doing with their ball screen. It was no gimmick or change I made. Our players just did a great job."
