Interesting stuff with a few surprises in that at the beginning of the season, you would have never expected some of these things.
1) Oregon - no surprise and there are some people talking about UO getting back in the discussion for the CFP with so many teams likely to have at least one loss and probably several with two.
2) ASU - hopefully they fall next Monday after the loss to us this weekend.
3) UCLA got back on track with a solid win against Arizona after a loss the previous week.
4) Oregon St. - decent defense and a solid offense but I thought they would drop more than one spot after the loss to WSU
5) Utah - up two spots after a strong showing against USC on the road. We've got a two game winning streak - hopefully three after Saturday night.
6) Stanford - I think this year more than any year we have a number of teams in the conference that could win the Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde award but I think that Stanford wins it going away even with some solid contenders.
7) USC - they do have a lot of talent and they lost to a good team (us) so why should they fall more than one spot???
8) Washington State - up one spot after beating OSU. They play Stanford this week - which Stanford team will show up?
9) Washington!! Yes - you read that right. The Huskies. I bet there's not one person reading this who would have EVER guessed the Huskies would be 2-3 at this point. They are a bad team. They are at home against UCLA - who's everyone cheering for? :)
10) Cal - it's a slow rebuild so far.
11) Colorado - the only team in the country that scores fewer points than Colorado is Vanderbilt. For perspective, UConn and UMass both score more points per game than the Buffs though that's not necessarily a completely fair comparison. They play AZ this week in a matchup of the two worst teams in the conference.
12) Arizona - at least they are consistent. That said, they play hard and they score more points than Colorado - is this going to be the game where they break their LONG losing streak? I'm thinking they win this game - it is at Colorado, though.

What are your thoughts???
