I spoke with Lander last night and he said something interesting… His mom is the one pushing Utah constantly, but surprisingly everyone else is telling him to do what makes him happy. That includes Cody and Jackson. He wants to make a decision relatively soon, but he’s not sure where he’ll take his two OVs that he still needs to decide on. Currently his OVs are Utah, Michigan and Texas.
Early playing time and a strong relationship with coaches will be crucial. He also said the Utah coaches see him as a Devin Lloyd type linebacker. Lloyd was also his host on the visit.
