Utah received a commitment late last night from Mater Dei HS DT Semi Taulanga. He’s a 6-foot-1 and 300 pound defensive tackle. Utah usually is careful on taking two shorter DTs in their recruiting classes, but sources close to the program have told me that Semi is just too good to pass up. This gives Utah three DT commitments and basically four because Kaufusi will also project as a DT.
