Huge news for Utah as four star cornerback Clark Phillips has flipped from Ohio State to Utah! The four star player gives the Utes an instant-impact freshman that can be a day one starter.

That makes the sting of losing three starting cornerbacks a lot easier to bear.

With Phillips' announcement, Utah is done with new commitments for the early signing period. They are still waiting on Jaylan Ford and Kenzel Lawler to sign, though it's looking likely that Ford will flip to Texas. Lawler is expected to sign tomorrow.

For the February signing period, a few names to watch are Edgerrin Cooper, Solatoa Moea'i, Tanoa Togiai, Cooper Justice, and Keanu Tanuvasa. The staff will also be keeping an eye on the transfer portal, as well as seeing if anybody shook loose from the early signing period that they may be interested in.
