Here's a 2017 recruiting update you'll all enjoy about Matt Mitchell:
I had a conversation with one of my sources, and they told me that the staff felt that the visit went just as well as it could go over the weekend. According to them, Mitchell loved his visit to Salt Lake and wants to be a Ute. The staff absolutely loves his athleticism and versatility. As Alex had mentioned previously, we'll know by no later than the end of the month if it'll pan out on Mitchell's end, and if it does, we fully expect him to be a Ute. That's all we can go into right now. But things are looking optimistic following the visit.
If things fall through with Mitchell, expect the staff to still try and fill that last 2017-18 roster spot via grad transfer. However, they're all in on Mitchell right now.
