Here’s the notes from Ludwig’s recent interview, he had some good stuff to say:

Ja’Quinden has worked really hard at tightening up his motion. He’s done a great job with repetitive accuracy, as well as having some nice QB runs.

Barnes is a great operational QB. He had great system mastery and is working on his repetitive accuracy.

Calls backup QB a neck and neck battle.

Brandon Rose’s arm strength and accuracy stand. He’s just learning where and when to throw the football.

Jaylon Glover has a lot of dynamic juice about him. Lots of raw talent.

The move of Munir McClain was because of his size and frame, but also thinking and hoping he can be the next guy to fit into the Brant Kuithe role.

Both Money Parks and Makai Cope are getting a lot of opportunities this spring, so they can build receiving depth. They both have a lot of juice and great ball skills.

His offensive schemes are player-driven, but it’s no secret it’s heavily reliant on the TEs and their versatility.

Bernard is so versatile and dynamic in the open field. With his catching abilities, it provides them a lot of opportunities to get to RBs on the field.

Rising has grown a lot as a leader, with his track record and the things he’s gone through with winning the job, getting injured, battling back, getting beat out, and fighting back to take the job. It’s his fourth year in the system. He exudes confidence and he rallies the troops. He’s so valuable on the field and his intangibles are absolutely invaluable.

Tavion is wanting to become more of a leader and Ludwig sees it intermittently. The main thing is though is Ludwig is asking Tavion to take care of Tavion. He’s on the Leadership Council, and so respected already by what he does in the field.

(Alex note: What I’m positive that he’s implying by Tavion taking, is Thomas’ need to get his weight down)

The first two weeks of spring ball is important for the OL to establish the two-deep.

The most important thing for the receivers this springs is to work on explosive play. They need more production on the perimeter, especially with all of the attention the TEs will be drawing.
