I recall during last years recruiting cycle how many were worried and complained about how poor the recruiting haul was in California. That was clearly addressed by the staff this recruiting cycle with roughly 15 of the 25 initials according to Whit coming from California.
This year's recruiting cycle many have been worried and complained (rightfully) about the inability to recruit kids from Utah to stay here. As Dan and Alex have both reported the coaching staff is well aware of this and knows it needs to be addressed going forward.
So my hope is that next year's recruiting cycle will see us address the issue in Utah just as this year we addressed the issue in California.
All in all I'm relatively happy with this class in general, and ecstatic about the o-line additions specifically.
I truly do believe its more about the ones we do get, and not the ones we don't get.
Now bring on Spring Ball and recruiting the 2016 class. Go Utes!
