As if anyone needs anymore reason to be impressed and amazed by what Clay did on the field this past year I found out something new about him from a contact close to him that I trust. Apparently he broke his foot during the Fresno game. Granted it must not have been too bad but still is such a testament to how tough Clay is and how much he wanted to make an impact for Utah and himself. He was just in that mental zone that he could not and would not fail in his final year of eligibility. I was told what kind of saved him was the BYE week before Michigan and then of course we all know what he did at Michigan and for the rest of the season. Playing through an injury isn't all that uncommon but how well he did is pretty spectacular. I was also told things have been going well in Tampa for him and he's really pushing to make the cut.
