Well, yes they beat Kentucky, but I don’t think many of us expected them to beat two ranked teams in a row. The worst thing to it was beating Kentucky and then losing by 30 to SDSU. That’s the one thing that’s dodged Krystkowiak teams: consistency.
Timmy Allen came to play, but no one else really did. Surprisingly Utah shot more free-throws and almost matched them from long distance, but they had eight more turnovers and were easily out rebounded. Now on to conference play, and they’re first two against Oregon State and Oregon will be insanely difficult. Win one and they should be happy.
