That’s a the positive, right? Onto the Pac-12 Championship Game?
Utah’s offense was off early and there were definitely some plays that rising would want back, especially keeping it instead of pitching it on 4th down.
This game had the opportunity to be a blow out and mistakes here and there kept that from happening.
I loved that they went deep to Dixon and it would be nice to see that happen more often. It was a great play and pass and Dixon needed to come down with that.
Thomas and Pledger ran for 28 carries, 245 yards, and one TD (142 yards and 103 yards respectively). They were beasts. Everyone just needs to hope Thomas didn’t re-aggravate his recent injury.
The defense was phenomenal. They gave up 148 yards total (84 passing and 64 rushing). It seemed like they were drilling Colorado QB Brendon Lewis on every play. Props to him though by the way, Lewis is one tough dude.
Lloyd and Tafua played today like they wanted to make an impact statement in their last home game. Cole Bishop and Jonah Elliss are both future stars and late-season impact guys right now.
I’m going to avoid going negative about Utah’s kickers and coverage team.
700 wins in program history now for Utah, congrats to the football program.
Now we wait and see who they play in the championship game… A quick reminder…
-Oregon wins and their in…
-Oregon loses and Washington State wins, and Wazzu is in…
-Oregon loses to Oregon State and Washington State loses to Washington and Oregon State is in…
Let’s hear from everyone else…
