There is being 2-1 with a competitive and crisp unit. And there is 2-1 with the knowledge that we are lucky to be 2-1. Right now so many toes have been blown off the foot that there are no more toes to blow off.
Can the offense turn it around? Unfortunately there have been 3 weeks now with terrible receiver play. I am not sure that can be fixed. They should have fixed it after Weber. They didn't. They should have fixed it after NIU. They didn't. They should fix it after WSU... will they?
Also... it is apparent we only have one running back after I was led to believe we had 3 quality backs. Where is Shyne? Why isn't he playing (I get the fumble issue but....)?
I hope they can turn it around in the next two weeks but right now this is looking like a 5-7 team.
