The 2025 DII men's basketball championship tipped off with a selection show on Sunday, March 9 at 11 p.m. ET live streamed here on NCAA.com. The NCAA released the field here. Here is the schedule for March Madness 2025, which begins with Selection Sunday on March 16 and ends with the Final Four
The tournament consists of a 64-team field, including 23 automatic bids, with regionals determining the eight quarterfinalists that will advance to the Men’s Elite Eight at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, on March 25-29.

- Quarterfinals | Tuesday, March 25
- No. 3 DBU vs. No. 6 Lake Superior St., 1 p.m.
- No. 2 West Liberty vs. No. 7 Cal. St. Dom. Hills, 3:30 p.m.
- No. 1 Nova Southeastern vs. No. 8 Assumption, 7 p.m.
- No. 4 Washburn vs. No. 5 Lenoir-Rhyne, 9:30 p.m.
- Semifinals | Thursday, March 27

- There are dozens of teams on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament. If they don't get an automatic or at-large bid, they can earn the opportunity to play in the NIT Tournament.
The tourney has been running since 1938, with Temple being the first champion. Most recently, Seton Hall won in 2024, defeating Indiana State.
