Alright guys, we actually got to see more of practice today than just punt return and third team, so there's a lot more to talk about. I'll get right to it, here are your five points for offense.

  1. Troy Williams and Tyler Huntley got the majority of the reps today. Of the two, Williams looked the best by far. Huntley struggled throwing the ball and threw a couple of interceptions, although he continues to show that he's a threat in the running game. Williams continued to look accurate and poised. He only threw one interception, which came from a batted ball at the line. He also had a very nice 20 yard TD pass to Bronson Boyd on a corner route.
  2. The running backs had a hard time getting much going today on the ground, as the defensive line was absolutely smothering. However, the backs were active in the passing game and Zack Moss in particular had a few nice grabs.
  3. The offensive line was getting all they could handle from the D line and the QB was under pressure quite a bit. Surprisingly, there was only one sack called, as the QBs had some success scrambling when the protection broke down. We also saw some variation on the line, Paulo took snaps at RT and Uhatafe played at LG.
  4. Raelon Singleton is back after missing the first week of practices with an injury. He was out there running routes at full speed and had a catch on an out route.
  5. The kicking battle continues to be uncertain, the two kickers that looked the best today were Chayden Johnston and walk-on UVU transfer Matt Gay. Johnston nailed a 50-yarder which Gay missed, but then Johnston missed a 40 yarder that Gay hit. Whittingham confirmed that those two are now the primary candidates for place kicking duties.
