Is there anyone on the board that can shed some light or has Hill spoken on Utah's policies and / or the industry norm? Certainly I can appreciate not wanting to give an assistant a 6 year deal when the HC has 3 years remaining. With our local SLTrib freedom of information guru Piper pulling out the stops on all emails I would just like to know what the industry standard is.
It is a tricky situation and with all the rumors going on of Dave C and his antics and other assistants not happy with him, 2 losing seasons... I can see why Hill wouldn't want to extend the world out 5 or 6 years. Now the way he did it might not be good. What do other PAC12 teams do with assistants?
