Tyler Huntley is making a case for himself at QB. Coach Whittingham pointed out that Huntley has cleaned up what he needed to from his freshman year. His lose cannon, being reckless, and trying to force a play were what kept him from being the number 1 spot. This summer he's worked hard and is competing for that starting spot.

Before Armand Shyne went down with injury, Zack Moss had probably inched his way above Shyne in the RB battle. Whittingham feels that Moss knows what's expected of himself and so do the other running backs.

Expect to see a lot more pass blocking from RB's this year.

The biggest reason for Josh Nurse moving to safety was the lack of depth in that position. He's made the transition well and seems to enjoy it.

Boobie Hobbs will be a viable returning this year, especially as he becomes more and more comfortable in what he's doing.

The WR group looks like they've under went a transformation, Whitt saying they look like a Pac-12 receiving group. He's said this group from speed, depth, the way they catch the football has improved. The group is bigger, stronger, and faster.
