Congrats to both Coach's, Coach K on his 1000 and our Coach K on his 100th
How the time flies and I still remember what Coach K said to me inside the hotel lobby in San Antonio 17 years ago.
I was hanging out there in the lobby when Coach K jumps out of a limo so I start rolling my camera and fresh of our NC win. I ask him if he has any predictions?....he says "that you are going to have a good time tonight" I then said what about the game and he says " enjoy it while you can"....well this rubbed me wrong so I said to him as he was walking away " why don't you give us some of your All Americans that are not working out for you and we will be back next year"....as he walked away he just raised his arm to me and I shut the camera down.
How true was that....enjoy it while you can.....its been 17 years and it seems like yesterday....its hard to get back, that why it is good to set conference goals and relish in tradition because in the end that's what carries you.
