Very disappointed with the scrimmage (?) today especially from the offense.
The Wrs took a major step back today, although I have to admit several who will be playing did not play in the exhibition . Even the zone read option was very slow developing, not sure what the problem was although I do recall several snaps took their sweet time getting to the QB.
I didn't pay much attention as to the O line, neither did Huey or the D line, so I don't know who was at fault for looking like a high school jv squad.
The "throw game" was a little predictable as well. Seemed like every time we put trips to one side the pass play was always a drag route to the opposite side. As everyone noticed, even Hellen Keller, the wide outs dropped a few balls.
Overall I was very disappointed with O. If was definitely what we coaches call a "fugly ucker".
