Peterson went down with a knee injury tonight, so it will be interesting to see what the Vikings have to do on the waiver wire. Hopefully Matt gets a good shot at the job from here going forward.
A cool story for you guys… Asiata is best friends with a good friend of mine and back when he was fighting for a roster spot in Minnesota (after taking that one year off) we were at my buddy's night-before wedding dinner. Matt walks in the door, I give him a thumbs-up asking if he made it--because nobody there had heard--and he came over, give me a big hug, and told me the news. I'm so happy that he's carved out a nice niche in the NFL.
