Coming off of their 67-39 thumping of USC last Sunday, the Utes now roll into Boulder where they'll meet an entirely different Colorado squad than the team they played in Salt Lake City. The Buffaloes are 9-2 at home despite having a near .500 record (11-10) on the season. Combine that with the fact that Utah hasn't been so good on the road this season and we should have a fine game on our hands.

Colorado has lacked Josh Scott, a 6'10" junior forward, for 8 of their last 9 games due to a back injury. Many considered him to be an NBA draft candidate during his sophomore season. He'll be back on the floor for the first time in a month tonight when they face the Utes. The Buffs made up for the loss of Scott with some good play from Wesley Gordon, Tory Miller, Dustin Thomas and Tre'Shaun Fletcher. Gordon, a 6'9" Sophomore forward has been averaging nearly 10 points a game during Scott's absence. Of course, the Buffaloes still have the services of Askia Booker. The talented guard was held to just 12 points on 4-12 shooting back in January when these two teams last met in the JMHC. He accounts for about 25% of Colorado's offense on the season, so Tad Boyle and co. are hoping his last performance against the Utes was a fluke. He has been haggled by two hip pointers over the past week and has sat out practice but is still projected to start.

Here are the projected starting lineups:

Colorado: G Askia Booker, 6-2, Sr. (17.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 3.3 apg); G Jaron Hopkins, 6-6, So. (7.5 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 1.7 apg); F Xavier Johnson, 6-7, Jr. (11.9 ppg, 5.4 rpg); F Wesley Gordon, 6-9, So. (7.7 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 1.5 bpg); F Dustin Thomas, 6-7, So. (4.4 ppg, 3.0 rpg).

Utah: G Brandon Taylor, 5-10, Jr. (10.8 ppg, 2.6 rpg, 3.4 apg); G Delon Wright, 6-5, Sr. (14.4 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 5.6 apg); F Jordan Loveridge, 6-6, Jr. (10.5 ppg, 3.6 rpg); F Chris Reyes, 6-7, So. (4.8 ppg, 4.2 rpg); C Jakob Poeltl, 7-0, Fr. (9.2 ppg, 7.7 rpg).
