People have been asking a lot of questions about what Utah is doing for QB recruiting for the 2016 class. Here's what's going on right now and what people should pay attention to:

- First off, Utah is taking a more narrow focus on the quarterbacks they're recruiting for this class. Coach Whit has been pretty clear that going forward, all quarterbacks that Utah offers need to be running threats as well. That narrowed focus will eliminate some prospects that may have received offers in the past, but should also help with the offensive identity.

- As of now, the plan is to give Kahi Neves a shot at QB. Now, if he doesn't have a very successful senior year at QB, that plan will likely change. But as it stands, he'll first get a look at QB and will move to LB if he can't crack the depth chart. I expect Utah to try to bring in one more QB for the class.

- There are very few offers out to QB prospects right now. I expect several offers to go out in the next few weeks. In addition to the guys already on the offer list, keep an eye on Devon Modster out of Tesoro HS (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA) and Jon Randall Belton at West Monroe (Louisiana). There are a couple of other QBs in So Cal that I know Utah is looking hard at, but I don't expect offers to go out until A Rod can see them throw during the spring evaluation period.

- I don't get the sense that Utah is going to go very hard after Keaton Torre at Bingham HS. We've talked about him in the past as being a potential option, but that doesn't look very likely right now.
