8/5 Whittingham Post Practice

• Running backs are shaping up well, Mike Mitchell is currently working hard for the RB1 position behind Micah Bernard.
•Jaylon Glover missed the first week of practice due to some back issues. Picked back up this week taking reps.
•Hunter Andrews has been moved from linebacker to running back, not new territory for him. Played in high school, rushed for 1,000 plus yards his senior year alone at running back.
•Whittingham likes him at the position, says he fits the large, physical back they’ve had in the past at 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds.
•Whittingham noted the decision was made due to Jaylon missing the first week and other younger players not quite being where they need to be physically.

•Brant Kuithe is their headliner, Landon King, Dallen Bentley and Caleb Lohner are getting a lot of the reps. Miki Suguturaga is also in the mix. Whittingham noted the group is deep enough it almost feels there aren’t enough reps to go around.
•Says that they’re focused on finding what works with guys in specific schemes and how to play to the strengths of the players to plug and play them.
