I recently had a chance to catch up with 3-star Cordova, Tenn. RB Jeremy Banks to talk recruiting and he mentioned Utah as one of the schools showing him the most attention. Banks recently visited Virginia Tech and says he's going to commit soon, but I don't know if they have a spot for him right now.
Here's what he had to say about the Utes:
On Utah: "I love Utah. I have a great relationship with the running backs coach. We shoot texts back and forth and talk on the phone almost every day. I’m ready to get up there and see how it is. I’m going to take an official visit there in the fall. I looked up some research on them and they just had a guy get drafted and they’ve told me I can be the next guy that they put in the league. That means a lot because that’s the goal for me."
