Wow BYU

So remember for years BYU fans made fun of us for a PAC-12 sticker here and there.

Well dang, they blew by any celebrating we ever did getting into the PAC-12 and took it to a whole new ridiculous comical level.

BYU threw a pep rally at midnight complete with fireworks and blue glowsticks with a carnival earlier. They actually paid for a "countdown clock" in Times Square, NY. (wth, lol).

Here's an interesting quote to come out of the festivities. Jarom Jordan went Biblical and compared BYU's plight to the Israelis back in the day and early Mormons fleeing persecution (umm okay).

“Like ancient Israel and the (LDS) pioneers, we waited and waited and found the right place,” said Jordan. “This is the place!”

OFFICIAL VISITOR UPDATE: Sammie Hunter, CB, Chandler, AZ

While currently undecided, cornerback Sammie Hunter is closing in on a decision in early July and is very interested in the possibility of becoming a Ute after his official visit. Before the visit, he was believed to be a Iowa State lean. However, Utah drove home an effective message.

“They’re back to back Pac-12 Champions. It’s a dream come true to have the chance to play for a championship culture.”

Iowa State and Utah are his final two with a decision likely on July 1st.

More details to come in an article coming soon...

Official Visitors: 6/23

Here are this week’s visitors. I’m double-checking any last minute changes like can always happen. It’s a week of extremely talented players that are mostly flying under the radar early in the process. Plus, four-star Lamar Radcliffe who hails from Ganther’s stopping ground in Sacramento.
