Currently there are 5 scholarship spots open given the new 15 scholarship limit. That roster desperately needs a dynamic scoring SG, at least one other reliable 3 point shooter, and a starting C.

There will likely be some on this list who leave via the portal. We can update next year's roster as announcements are made.

4/24 Snowden update

Okay, so I need to respect my sources on this, but here’s what I can give:

-The $1.9 million offer is accurate. Others have also been in the picture.

-Money goes a long ways, but Snowden is a loyal dude that loves Utah. He also knows the value Utah holds for his future by staying at Utah. No BYU spin will change that.

-There’s no decision yet. The reality is that that’s life-changing money, but it’s been offered to a loyal guy that can think past all of that.

Stay tuned.

BYU is has gone after three Utes again not in the portal

I’ll give you all more soon, but I was reached out to last night around 10 PM from sources directly involved. The three Utes are Lomu, Snowden, and Vakalahi. I’m told all three are staying. One was given a deadline. Tampering has gotten out of control in college football and BYU has an obsession and determination right now to go after Utah players.

22 Forever Spring Game Thread

The game will be a little different than typical, so here’s what to expect:

THE GAME

The Utes’ offense (white) will battle the defense (red) in Saturday’s game. Morgan Scalley will lead the defense, while Jason Beck is set to coach the offense.

  • The first half will feature two 10-minute quarters with a standard clock.
  • The second half will consist of two 10-minute quarters with a running clock.
  • There will be no kickoffs, punts or returns. PATs and FGs will not be live.
  • Regardless of how a drive ends, the ball will be placed on the 35-yard line to start a new drive.
