The upcoming Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight will move one step closer when the two stars step on the scales to make things official for Friday's contest.
The bout between the former heavyweight legend and the face of the influencer boxing movement was originally scheduled for July, but a health scare for the 58-year-old Tyson forced a cancellation.

Regardless, Iron Mike kept the fight on the calendar and the two are now scheduled to meet at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas in one of the biggest events of the year.
Both Tyson and Paul are adept self-promoters. The former has managed to build a legacy and reputation that goes beyond just boxing, while the latter has proved himself as an entertainer and content creator.
That all points to a weigh-in that should have some memorable moments and viral quotes.

What Will Mike Tyson Look Like?
A lot of the intrigue in this spectacle lies with what version of Tyson we are going to see on Friday night.
On one hand, he's 58 years old and couldn't even fight in the summer due to a health issue; on the other, he's clearly been training and has posted multiple videos that show a guy who is still in pretty good shape.
It's been four years since Tyson was in a boxing ring. He fought fellow aging star Roy Jones Jr. to a draw in an eight-round exhibition bout in 2020, but he did land more punches and was the sharper of the two.
That's a far cry from showing he can end Paul's current run of success in the sport. The YouTuber has put together a fairly impressive run as far as influencer boxers go, with several wins over MMA fighters and a few journeymen boxers.
What Will the Size Difference Be?
Paul has done a great job of choosing opponents in his combat career. He has picked out a wide array of opponents that includes former NBA dunk champion Nate Robinson, UFC star Anderson Silva and bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry.
One thing they all had in common is that Paul is naturally bigger than all of them.
Robinson weighed in at 181 pounds for his bout with Paul. Silva spent the vast majority of his UFC career at 185 pounds while Perry fought as light as 155 pounds. Paul struggled to get down to 200 pounds for his latest fight against Perry.
Tyson weighed in at 220.4 pounds for his bout against Jones four years ago, which is lighter than he was in his prime.
It will be interesting to see just how big Iron Mike is these days and what Paul will do if he's the smaller fighter.
