Hey guys, I just caught up with Viewmont offensive lineman Alex Harrison. Harrison was at the all about U camp this weekend, but he didn't get to compete as he is nursing a minor knee injury and doesn't want to take any risks that would put his senior year in question.

Harrison has an impressive offer sheet which includes Utah, USC, Oregon, ASU, Washington State, Nebraska, BYU, and Utah State. He said that he's hearing a lot from nearly all of the schools that has offered him, and that Utah, USC, ASU and Oregon are standing out. Utah will definitely have to play keep away if they want to keep him home.

Harrison hasn't taken any official visits yet, he's saving those for the season, but he knows that he wants to use four of his five on Utah, USC, Oregon and Arizona State. Harrison is already very familiar with Utah, and is going to take an unofficial visit to Oregon soon.

The biggest thing the Utes have going for them in Harrison's recruitment is that he has a great relationship with Coach Harding and Coach Powell. Harrison has also taken note of Harding's record with getting players to the NFL, and he says that going to a school that will give him a great chance to play in the league is very important to him.

I'll have more on Harrison in a forthcoming article.
